A Holistic Approach is a way of helping the body find its natural balance, called homeostasis. It focuses on energy in the body, unlike regular medicine, which looks at how chemicals in the body work. This approach sees the body as one whole system, connected to everything around it, including the universe.
Homeopathy is an important part of the holistic approach. It uses natural remedies that work with the body’s energy to stimulate healing. Homeopathy looks at the person as a whole—body, mind, and emotions—to find the right remedy that matches their unique situation.
When someone is not feeling well, the holistic way is to first try to help the body naturally, then use treatments that are similar to the problem, and only as a last option, use treatments that work against it.
Instead of looking at each symptom separately, a holistic approach looks at all the symptoms together [the totality of all symptoms]. It also tries to understand how the person feels inside and how they see the world. This can help find hidden stresses that might be causing the problem.
By talking about feelings or energy we usually keep inside, the holistic approach helps us let go of things that don’t belong to who we really are. Homeopathy works alongside this process to guide the body and mind toward healing, without harsh side effects, helping us feel better naturally.
History and Benefits
Developed over 200 years ago by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, homeopathy is rooted in the principle of “like cures like”—the idea that a substance causing symptoms in a healthy person can, in small doses, treat similar symptoms in illness. It has since become a globally trusted form of medicine, recognized for its gentle, non-invasive, and holistic approach. Scientifically backed by numerous studies, homeopathy has shown efficacy in addressing acute and chronic conditions, as well as boosting the immune system naturally.
Homeopathy Research Institute
HRI is a UK-based charity dedicated to promoting high quality research in homeopathy at an international level.
A very non-invasive process that brings up the organism to homeostasis in a very gentle manner that could be unnoticeable to the person at the time. A new light is shone on life.
Life is ever changing and so are we. We go through different life cycles so we are rarely in a constant. The Holistic Approach helps us to break out of stuckness that inevitably we will go through many times in life and it helps with settling in that new space. Just go back to high school and imagine what most teens go through.
For acute cases, treatment usually takes less time and a few different remedies may be used. Treatment is individualized.
– common cold and influenza support
– travel support
– wounds, burns support
– grief support
– wellness support
Chronic cases usually take a bit longer than acute and are followed for longer. In the first session we explore to understand what is in the way and how we would proceed further. Each treatment is individualized.
– A chronic issue is something that is bothering you for a long time, you haven’t been well since something has happened to you and homeostasis was distributed. You are not being able to get back to homeostasis on your own.
The first step in the holistic approach is to see the person as a whole, not just a set of symptoms. This means looking at their body, mind, emotions, lifestyle, and how they view the world. We also explore the experiences and stresses they’ve gone through to understand the root cause of the problem.
During the sessions, we focus on the body’s energy. Homeopathy plays an important role here. It uses very small doses of natural substances to trigger the body’s healing process. The right homeopathic remedy is chosen based on how the person feels physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Each person’s plan is completely individualized. For example, if someone is dealing with stress or illness, we don’t just look at the symptoms but also consider their emotional and mental states. The plan is designed to help restore balance in the body, mind, and spirit. Homeopathy helps support the body in doing this in a natural, gentle, and non-invasive way.
Part of the holistic approach is supporting the person to explore their inner experiences and feelings. This helps identify stresses or emotions that may have been hidden or repressed. We look for energy or patterns that are not socially accepted or expressed, and by giving these feelings a voice, we help the person let go of them. This process allows them to not identify with the stress and better understand themselves.
As you continue with the sessions, we track progress and see how the body is responding. If needed, adjustments are made to the homeopathic remedy or the overall approach to continue supporting healing.
Throughout the process, you’ll receive ongoing support, both through the treatments and by exploring your own feelings. The goal is to help you reconnect with your natural state of balance and well-being, not just through remedies but through understanding yourself more deeply.
The Holistic Approach offers a more lasting solution by addressing the root cause of your symptoms, rather than just focusing on quick fixes that may bring temporary relief. While conventional methods often target acute symptoms, they can sometimes cause those symptoms to return with even more intensity. Through the holistic process, we work to restore balance within the body, offering natural relief that lasts in the long run. This approach helps to heal not just the symptoms but the underlying factors.
